BSI Website E-Commerce Terms & Conditions

These E-Commerce Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and transactions made through the Broadcast Solutions International (BSI) online shop at https://www.bsint.net. By placing an order, submitting an inquiry list, or otherwise using our online shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
This document forms part of BSI’s consolidated Website Policies, which includes:
1. Ordering & Contract Formation
Orders placed through the Website are considered an offer to purchase products from BSI. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order.
Once an order is confirmed, you will receive an acknowledgment email. This acknowledgment is not acceptance of the order until payment has been verified.
For Inquiry List submissions, no contract is formed via the Website. BSI will review your list and respond with a quotation or proposal directly. A binding contract will only arise once both parties agree in writing or via an accepted quotation.
2. Prices & Payment
BSI reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without notice. Prices at the time of order confirmation are final.
Payment must be made in full through approved third-party gateways (e.g., M-Pesa, debit/credit cards, or bank transfer).
Cash on Delivery is not accepted. Orders are only processed once payment has been confirmed.
3. Delivery & Collection
Delivery options include:
- Flat rate or location-based courier delivery, depending on customer location.
- BSI delivery services, charged separately.
- Customer pickup from BSI offices (arranged in advance).
We deliver within Kenya and across East Africa. Delivery times and charges are communicated at checkout or upon confirmation.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. Title to products passes only once full payment is received.
4. Returns & Refunds
BSI accepts returns only in the following cases:
- Wrong product delivered.
- Product received is defective or damaged on delivery.
To qualify for a return, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery and provide proof of purchase. Products must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by all accessories.
If approved, BSI will replace the product or issue a refund to the original payment method.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Change of mind or incorrect choice.
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or customer negligence.
5. Warranties
Products sold by BSI are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty, if provided.
BSI does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer.
Warranty claims must follow the manufacturer’s procedures, which may require proof of purchase and compliance with usage instructions.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal, billing, and delivery information.
- Ensure availability at the delivery location to receive goods.
- Where relevant, ensure that the installation environment (e.g., power, solar, or ICT infrastructure) is suitable for the product.
- Use products in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or voiding of warranties/returns.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BSI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from purchases, including loss of business, profits, or data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by BSI’s negligence.
8. Precedence of Terms
These Website E-Commerce Terms apply generally to purchases made through the BSI online shop. However, for certain products, projects, or services, BSI may issue separate or additional terms and conditions (for example, in a sales contract, quotation, service agreement, or warranty document). In such cases, those specific terms shall take precedence over these general Website E-Commerce Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
10. Amendments
BSI reserves the right to amend these E-Commerce Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date revised. Continued use of the Website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
